Jeff Carter

An Athens native, Jeff recognized a void in civil engineering options in the area. After spending several years as vice president of an Atlanta-based engineering firm, Jeff launched Carter Engineering in 2004 to bring superior civil engineering and land planning services to his hometown.
Jeff oversees Carter’s design services and directly manages several of the firm’s franchise clients. With significant commercial, residential and institutional expertise, Jeff brings more than 20 years of experience to the firm. Clients commend Jeff’s skill in explaining complex engineering concepts, ability to understand and interpret their needs, and prompt, personal communication style.
A graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering, Jeff enjoys golf, fishing and spending time with his family.
